Water Quality Matters More Than You Think

Tap water contains minerals that build up inside the chamber and plumbing over time, leading to scale deposits that interfere with heat transfer and can eventually damage internal components. Most manufacturers recommend distilled or deionized water specifically to prevent this kind of mineral buildup, and using the wrong water type is one of the most common—and preventable—causes of premature sterilizer failure.
